Introducing Purple Means More: One Color. Many Meanings.

Updated: Aug 22

Shots 4 Meningitis is excited to officially launch Purple Means More, a new national awareness campaign built around one simple idea:

Purple is more than a color.

Purple has long been familiar within the meningitis community. We did not create that history. With Purple Means More, we want to help tell the stories that color can carry.

Purple means awareness. It means remembering those taken too soon. It means recognizing survivors whose journeys often continue long after they leave the hospital. It means standing with families and caregivers. It means action. And it means hope.

Most importantly, it represents people. That is what we want Purple Means More to become: an easy, memorable doorway into a much bigger conversation about meningitis and the lives it changes.

And we have big plans!

But this campaign will only grow if people help carry it forward. Visit the site. Hear the campaign. Discover why purple means more. Share it with someone who should know about meningitis. Share it with a survivor or family. Share it with your company, school, community, or simply someone you care about. Every person who sees it gives us another opportunity to start a conversation.

Purple is more than a color.

Come discover why.
